Our friend Jenni

I just wanted to post something about our friend Jenni. We love her so much and want her to know that. She has a heart condition and had to go and have her pacemaker replaced. Thankfully she is at a great hospital and the nurses and doctors are taking very good care of her and her family. We are so grateful that the Lord blessed her with wonderful parents. We are grateful that the Lord blessed her with a strong spirit. I am sure that sometimes it can be difficult especially since all this is going on for a 13 year old. But Jenni is a great example and we can't wait for her to get home!

No we aren't afraid the house would catch on fire. Louie decided that he wanted a German chocolate cake for his 38th birthday. We had a nice and relaxing day! We celebrated on the 23rd because he had to work on his actual birthday, the 24th. He had no thoughts about turning 38. But I can't believe that in 2 years he will be in his 40's!!! Happy Birthday to my baby daddy and we love you!

Grandma Maddie's birthday

Today is Grandma Maddie's birthday and we just want to say how much we love her. She is always so positive and helpful She adores all these grandkids and remembers their parents too....We love her also as a mother. She encourages the right values and guides her life by the Spirit. We love mom and grandma. Happy Birthday!!!

Mattea's 4th birthday party

Mattea is 4!

Mattea was born at 11:38p. but my water broke at 4a that morning. We were living with family and every one was so anxious and excited for her to arrive. We went to the hospital about 8 hours after my water broke and as you can tell she took awhile to be born. She came into this world weighing 8lbs. 8oz and with lots of personality. She loves to help around the house. One sister calls her munchkin, one calls her Tiny and daddy loves to call her his Sweet Angel Baby Princess....no self esteem issues here. We are so glad that she came to our family. She keeps us all smiling and on our toes.Happy Birthday!

The Gillis Girls come to visit

My cousin TerriAnne and I are 10 years a part in age, but our girls are all the same age. They came down for the weekend and we all had a blast. The only sad time was that Lindsey was sick! We played and laughed and watched Valentine's Day. We are so glad that we have them and TerriAnne's homemade salsa! The girls all decided that we need to get together once a month whether we go there or they come here. We are so happy that they came here to see us. (The picture above is of the girls all together minus Isabella.)
